Fresh images of the 2025 Jeep Compass have been released, giving a sneak peek into the design changes that the popular SUV will undergo. The upcoming model is set to feature a new interpretation of the iconic Jeep seven-slot grille, now illuminated with LED elements, paired with a set of boxier headlights. The rear of the vehicle will sport horizontal L-shaped elements that complement the overall aesthetic.
Production of the new Compass is scheduled to commence later this year at the Stellantis Melfi plant in Italy. The vehicle will be based on the Stellantis STLA Medium architecture, sharing similarities with models like the Peugeot 3008 and 5008. The new Compass is expected to offer a range of powertrains, including hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and full all-electric options, with all-wheel drive capabilities right from the launch.
Hybrid variants of the Compass are likely to be equipped with a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine along with an electric motor. The electric range is expected to vary across different models, with the top-tier version featuring a dual-motor setup for enhanced performance. The mid-range model, however, may offer the longest range on a single charge, reaching up to 700km from its 98kWh battery.
The new Compass is designed to blend Jeep’s renowned capability with cutting-edge technology, promising best-in-class performance and advanced driver assist features. While the availability of a ‘Trail Rated’ version has not been officially confirmed, the new Compass is anticipated to excel in off-road capabilities, setting a benchmark in its class for traction, water fording, and ground clearance.
Although the initial deliveries are slated for Europe in 2025, markets like Australia may have to wait until early 2026 to get their hands on the latest Jeep Compass model. With its range of powertrain options and modern features, the 2025 Compass is expected to appeal to a wide range of customers seeking a blend of performance, technology, and rugged capability in their SUV.
Jeep enthusiasts and potential buyers are eagerly awaiting the full unveiling of the 2025 Compass, which promises to set new standards in the compact SUV segment. With its updated design elements, advanced powertrain options, and enhanced off-road prowess, the upcoming Compass is poised to continue the legacy of Jeep as a brand known for adventure, capability, and innovation.
